Hello, I’m Jacek
I am a PhD Candidate in Economics in the IDEA PhD Program at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Barcelona School of Economics (BSE).
My research interests lie in Applied Microeconomics, Migration, Family and Labor Economics.
In my job market paper, I investigate the effect of labor market integration policies on immigrants’ location and marriage choices. Using a structural model approach, I evaluate how an increase in immigrants’ income change marriage and location patterns and, further, what are the consequences of those changes for income inequality and welfare.
I am on the job market 2022-2023.
